At age 60, Tom got a job at a shipyard in Panama City, Florida after completing a 5000 mile sailing journey that started in California. He quickly acclimated to the business and got promoted. The company culture was not team based, it was as if the different departments were competing with each other and didn't know they all had the same goal.
